    L322 Diff recall procedure.

My 2002 4.4 HSE is going into the stealers next week for the diff replacement. I had mine replaced by a qualified Land Rover garage in 2007 when it crapped out and I have been asked to take in the receipt as Land Rover might well refund me the £600 cost. Woohoo!

    p38 Upgrade to L322 Front

Simple conversion. Trade the P38 in for an L322. They are going for a song at the moment. Talking from experience, the L322 is much more refined and drives so much better than the P38. IMHO.

Are you sure the system does not wait until the engine has warmed up slightly before going into defcon 5?

    noobie with a storage question

Hi unsavoury, To answer your question, the rangie will probably take most of your stuff without even folding down the back seats. You can fold the 1/3 + 2/3 backseats down to give more length and then fold them forward to give extra height. Folding down tail gate makes it ideal for sliding...

Need some advice on heated seats and general heating

muir318, I think the fuses for the heated seats are behind a panel at the side of the driver's seat. I'd be surprised if they are both fed from the sdame fuse or relay, but you never know. With regard to the heating issue, sounds like a blender motor problem. Good luck! Sam

    L322 Temperature Display

Stop looking! With the ignition key in position 1, press and hold the trip odometer reset button. While holding the button in, turn the key to position 0. This changes the temp display on the A/C and the exterior temp display. ;)

    L322 Temperature Display

Thanks for the feedback guys. I can change from MPH/MPG to KPH/KPG using the programming functions of the trip computer. It's not the Aircon display, it's the external temperature display, which is part of the instrument cluster.

    L322 Temperature Display

Just got my 2002 4.4HSE back from a service and the external temperature display is showing farenheit instead of centigrade. Any idea how to change it back to centigrade. No satnav, so can't control it from there.

if your looking for cars check the for sale section

OK, this looks like a great thread to post this little nugget! I have tried to sell my beloved 2002 4.4 HSE on this site, Autotrader and eBay. They say that timing is everything and, in my case, this must be true because I havn't had as much as a sniff from my Autotrader advert, apart from...

    gearbox fault

James, I used to get this with my P38 if I turned the ignition on and started the vehicle quickly. If I turned the ignition to position I, waited for a second until I heared a click and then started the engine, it was fine. Strange ...but true.

    L322 heater blower

Can you hear the fan running? If so, make sure the selector switches are set correctly to blow air through dash vents and that the wheel at each vent is set to "on".

    04 HSE Spec

Biggest difference is that the HSE does not have satnav/tv option, whereas the Vogue does. It is NOT possible to retro-fit this, as I found out to my cost. Other things like heated rear seats, sunroof are normally not found on an HSE. Hope that helps.
