thank you for all the replies,i have it sorted now.i basically swapped the front and rear round so the rear one now isn't working but i can live with that and it wont effect the mot. thanks again guys.

yes checked the fuse and there all good.

this is the tester we used.

he basically used a rapitest multi check to check for a complete circuit using a black lead for common and a red for the circuit and when a circuit is complete a green light shows and a buzzer goes off.

i had my dad put a circuit tester on the pump and he said it is fine but he didn't seem 100%. i'll give that a go,cheers mate.

Hi all i have a 1992 200tdi and i have filled the screen wash bottle up but i dont get any water out on front window. i push the switch and the wipers come on but no water,i have cleaned the connections to the motor and still nothing,i cant hear the motor working when switch is pushed but dont...

it is a garage i have been going to for years down near me,i said to him i was expecting it to fail because of the wings but he said it wasn't that serious.i showed another garage and they said the same,i will replace them soon tho because they wont last for to long as they are.

just got my disco back from the garage and it only failed on 2 things one was the headlights not bright enough and the other was my fault because i didn't put the exhaust on before i took it there so they couldn't do the emissions test so it failed on that aswell but hopefully by the end of the...
