I had some and it does dry out in the tip if you let it but after about 4 months or so I went back to it and still managed to use it but it had gone thicker and the tube ended up bending while trying to apply it. If I'm going to use it these days I try to plan out all future jobs with tiger seal...

Thanks for the info guys, theres not a lot in it between a 90 and a disco then really if the 90 is 1.7t. It would probably pull a lorry then if needed.

Eventually when i can afford it i would like to change the disco for a 90,one thing ive been thinking about recently is the 90's towing capacity. Im not going to be doing it much, only the odd recovery etc but does a 90 tow as well as a disco? I know it will pull just as well but arent the 90's...

In your opinion Is the timing belt an easy enough job to do for a slightly experienced beginner? I'm good with the spanners and have changed the stat and a few other bits like suspension, brake pipes, calipers, exhaust etc and would like to have a go if I can, but don't wanna get halfway through...

Got my 300 through its mot today at last! It failed at the end of October last year with a list as long as my arm so I've been without it as I slowly got through all the bits needing doing. All in all for the ticket I have renewed every brake pipe on the beast, completely replaced the boot floor...
