Hi mate there are a lot of free landers around for the 1000 to 1500 I'd go for a td4 good mpg just make sure it's still 4 wheel drive and all electrical stuff works I had one for many years it never missed a beat

Welcome I had a 2001 freelancer td4 standard just put some grabber at tyres on never got stuck I do a lot of shooting so in muddy fields ect loved the motor but missed the disco so got another of one

Put steel plate on door handle wire into mains that should do it for the thieving gits oh and welcome

Dunno about that one I have a snap on lithium ion power pack it's only small but starts my d1 300tdi no problem charges my mobile ect

Cut/drill bolt head off then use socket twist extractor to remove wot is left if you haven't got that bit o kit then I can always get it posted to you if you promise to post it back hope that helps
