try also the viscous fan make sure its spinning... and the thermostat Hopefully its not the engine block if a specialist says it cant be skimmed they are lying its always worth a try I know that they have been done in the passed.

Well known this engine is underpowered... but a lot of people on this forum do seem to be producing better MPG than others so its always worth asking. Well as an old timer boy racer my K&N airfilter fitments have always given me a very small improvement on accelaration and noise!! Cone and panel, but I can say that since putting on my K&N on my 96 dse it has done nothing but..... then again I think my dse has issues that a k&n may not...

I was looking at replacing the air filters and possibly later on replacing the airbag suspension units, would I need to depressurize the cylinder for any of these two? this is all new to me, and I cant seem to find any information on this..... :) thanks for the reply, ( Im used to springs...

sorry I dont really know, so it does seem kinda of a pointless post but I would reccomend getting it seen to by landrover and get them to test drive it... there is an awful lot of expensive transmission equipment that can be damaged under prolonged driving..:eek:

o' just curious as I have just brought a V6 pug, I think my rear bank of plugs need changing... lovely job... not! I wonder how different these engines really are? I mean the V^ ecotec vauxhall engine sounds exactly the same with the same amount of bhp.
