can an air conditioning compressor be used for OBA? ive got one on this v8 ive bought and wondering whether to keep it on, or remove it. my dash doesnt have all the AC stuff so thats out.

Dinitrol RC900 is really for small components or smallish areas. I wouldnt use it on an entire chassis. Better to buy some of the brushable stuff if you want to do that. Im not sure what condition your chassis is in but you may want to give it a wire brushing first as the rust converter wont...

ive had good luck on non-wearing parts with the following prep 1.) dinitrol rc900 - spray rust converter and primer 2.) red oxide primer from my local auto paint shop. i know its not red lead but its good. 3.) top coat. whatever gloss stuff.

yep, thats how i understand it. by "one way" i got the impression you were thinking its always connected but somehow stops the current working in one way or the other.

i think battery technology has moved on quite a bit and if you buy most any modern car battery it can be used for starting. if you have both batteries connected the load will be served equally across both batteries (give or take) also, a voltage sensitive relay doesnt make anything one way...
