welded up the front passenger footwell,then red oxide.then made progress onto the whhel arch:)

being doing a great job, gives a nice feeling that its all sorted and nothin to worry about.shame you couldnt of done a new crossmember and boot floor at the time. bet you be pleased when its all sorted and moted

if you got access to a welder could you not weld a nut to the stud. dont try the easy out extractors as they know for snapping. if you are attempting to drill use a left hand drill bit. plenty infor on here

im in middle of doing the same thing replacing my cills with box section.found it lot easier changing the body mounts at same time. so far one cill is done only to run out of wire to finsh floor off.at momment it plastered in red oxide.

been fitting box section on passenger side with new mounts.not fully welded as ran out of wire,but at least its in place

well today ive been red oxide in the box section and mounts ready for fitment,old cills all cut out on passenger side.hoping tomorrow to get fitting

my head gasket went at the rear between piston and pushrod causing pressure and blowing up thro pushrod and out of rocker cover. water and oil were fine. as above hg very easy to do. just make sure everything is clean and take your time

had same prob few years back and it was the cv joint.i was going slow in asda turing in to parking bay and give big style.loss drive ended up using diff lock to get drive.

yeah mines the 200tdi with a 1 button fob. ive read its the 1 button that has the 8 secound sequence which includes the use of the bonnet switch. those fobs are fetchin really high prices now.

hi all :) well today ive fitted a driver side lock barrel which went to plan.when testing closed with remote and open with key i notice the indicators flashing which got me thinking about the alarm. anyhow lights flash, can hear relays clicking but no horn and also the led on dash not working...
