ive just fitted new swivels to both sides of mine,, both were a britpart kit, and had no problems with them.. no leaks either.. so im happy, think the kit was 80 odd quid a side and included all bearings seals and gaskets,, to my mind the jurys out regarding these horror stories.. and maybe...

another thought ,, maybe as its synthetic oil and slightly thinner it may be that it is passing past the oil seal.. and changing to a mineral oil could reduce the leak.. possably,,, just a thought

mine is exactly the same.. judders for first 20 mins of driving,, if i use slightly more rev's when pulling away its fine,, oil on flywheel,, pain in the arse, but i cant be asked to strip it down , will wait till new clutch is needed ..

Would a small bottle jack actually reach.. would it not need to be a long reach type.. ?? asking as i dont like the jack that comes with it either and looking for better / safer alternatives

useually youll need a drop plate fitted first otherwise it will be too high. some of the drop plates have 2 additional brackets that tie the bottom to the chassie to make it nice and ridgid.

hi, can someone point me in the right direction for getting a genuine windscreen rubber for my 90, as im pretty sure the pattern one thats been fitted is badly leaking,, plus i need to replace the screen anyway as its got more chips than Harry Ramsdon..llol already got a screen but cant seem...

also below the p gasket there is a core plug in the front of the block, which will rot through if the leak has been running down onto it from the p gasket.. i know this because after fixing a long time leaking p gasket from a previous owner, still had the leak.. on closer inspection fount there...

i have the britpart kit, which i purchased some time ago.. way before i read a few threads on how crap they can be , but ill have to go with these for now and see how they go.. if it fails ill have to source some pukka L/R ones i guess Time will tell

its one of them new teflon coated balls im putting on.. so no idear how it will fair compared to the chrome ones

thanks for the heads up guys, i was replacing the off side wheel bearing so have a kit for that and will check the kit has the other bits you listed and order them up if not there. i have some fishing scales on standby from a mate also. only thing im devided on is weather to use the one shot...

i was thinking about the stub axel and drive shaft splines,, is wear easilly spotted and which is liable to have the most wear.. the splines on the shaft or the socket or both as much as each other.

hi. i am going to be stripping down and replacing the old pitted chrome ball's in the next week or so, is there anythink else worth checking / replacing while i have it all apart. i have a kit for each side and new swivel ball seals etc.

i do like the stainless steel looking toggle and push switches you have there . may i ask where you got them from, as i will be building up my raptor dash soon..
