thanks for that info Nodge68 - really handy - my meter does have resistance settings - but not below an ohm I think. Guess if resistance modiue is showing continuity between pins then fan should work.... hmmmm engine fuse box F8 is in fact .. missing - dont know why ... will refit tomorrow...

Does anyone know what the resistances should be on the fan resistor module ?

hi longdog - all ive tested is the voltage across the two pins of the plug that goes into the fan. So you are suggesting measuring from where to where ? cheers for your help Rob
