Brand new Kuasa AGM battery

Afternoon all. So today on way to work my disco 4 has developed a new fault. So with engine off the voltage shows 12.3v. She starts perfect and voltage jumps to 14v, after approx ten seconds the dashboard beeps (displays charging system fault) and immediately the voltage drops to 13.5v...

New Denso starter motor fitted… she’s now perfect 👍🏻

Sorry I am referring to the black module under the car. Diagnostics show the emergency release has been pulled so I am looking at best way to repair/replace the module under the car. When you use the hand brake button you can hear the motor working

So my other issue is the EPB needs replacing. I know the emergency release has been pulled prior to me buying the car. My question is where to get the module etc? Landrover want £715.20+vat for the module and that is on back order with no ETA. What are my other options? I’ve seen a module...

Update. Finally my mechanic managed to get out to look at the discovery. Turns out it’s the starter motor at fault. Starter is getting 12v and when I try to start her there’s no discernible drop on the voltage but she just won’t crank. New starter ordered from JGS 👍🏻

Are most make Starter motors okay or should I be looking at a specific brand?

I bought her from mid wales last week and that was over 120miles on the older battery. Tbh no I haven’t but next time I get her running I’ll pop the multimeter on her👍🏻

Can it be done on the ground?

So the battery fits and to my suprise started the car, however the first crank sounded laboured as before. I took her out for a 5 mile drive and she was perfect. Got home, turned her off and then tried to restart her. Didn’t want to start. She did crank but it was really slow and the starter...

What battery is correct for D4 ?

So update, I’ve ran a cable from the negative battery pole to the starter body and still nothing. I’d attach the video of what you can hear but don’t think I can upload it. For now I’ve removed the battery and will take it to the Battery suppliers to check if it’s good or bad

Is the solenoid in the engine bay or inside the car? Just checking where to listen to👍🏻

Also when I did the crank test on the Telwin (whilst it didn’t crank) the cranking capacity only showed 1 bar out of 3. In videos I’ve seen the cranking capacity bars hit 3 and say “ok”

So with the battery test on this is what I spotted. When trying to start the car the battery dropped to 1/2 bars out of 4 (see pic)

So I did the test.. not a lot happened and it didn’t say “battery okay” but I did notice this…..
