Rather ****ed off today as i spent an hour in the rain on my back changing the slave cylinder on the clutch, all went well (with the exception of the awkward top bolt) until I got inside and pressed the clutch pedal and got nowt :mad: I had in the bled the slave cylinder through before i fitted...

You could put them in the doors but you wont be able to wind the windows down, the norm is to mount them on the underside of the dash just in front of your knees with spacers and grilles. I got 6x9's and mounted them in the rear tub in mdf boxes instead

Get your battery properly tested, remove your glow plugs and test them using a battery and jump leads. They should glow a nice red (but dont touch them unless you dont like skin!) if they dont then replace them. The 2.5td was never the easiest of beasts to fire on really cold mornings

Dunt matter if they did. The fact is YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT THE MOT TEST. I have been in the trade for 22 years and everything that Trewy and the others say is right. Mot Tester are not allowed to dismantle anything during test and they dont use a hammer on sills they have a tool issued by VOSA...

I would get some bullet connectors, some female spade connectors, shrink wrap and the propper wire (colour and amperage) and make up a small loom to convert. Not hard would take about ten minutes and not cost alot. JMHO
