There is a slight whistle sound When accelerating. Would that also add to the problem?

Also the engine management light has come on twice while driving but only intermittently and has gone off again. I am stumped. Please any ideas will be most welcome.

My Freelander is continuing to run after the ignition is turned off for about 5 seconds. I am not sure what to do about it any ideas on how to approach it. It is a TD4 02 plate. Any advice would be greatly received. Kind regards Kieran.

Hi Nodge. Cheers mate. I cleaned the all out with WD40 and let them dry. I got the driver in but the screw disintegrated around the driver. So still no luck. I think I will try the dremmil. Where can I get replacement screws from as these ones are totally finished. Kind regards Kieran.

Hi Guys. I can't get the front bumper off as the Philips screws are rusted and the bit just sheets through the metal. How can I get them off I am now wil hire stuck. Your collective advice as ever will be well received. :-)

Hi mate I didn't know about exhaust paste it is slipping and gas is escaping. What is exhaust paste and how do I use it. Sorry for being so thick. But I am totally new to all this. Whew I want to get the old EGR off ASAP and the new one back on. :-)

Hi Platty. went for the DJ Design kit. It was all That I could spend. but for what ever reason it won't work for me. I am very frustrated. And I am now back to the old EGR.
