Well not really. Problem with LEDs is u struggle with a reflector to get the beam pattern or throw of light u can get from a halogen bulb.

We use them at the mine I work at. If your after work lights they are ideal.

A remap will make a difference as they can alter throttle response fuel and air mix etc.

I'm looking into this conversion. Can you use a 300tdi down pipe with the 200tdi chassis? I'm not wanting to use an r380 gearbox? Which loom do I use? I have a disco 300tdi loom and the loom from my 19j engine.

I got a 3 ton sealey jack and some decent axle stands for 130 new on eBay delivered. The lidl axle stands are ok but I'd never go under my disco relying on them alone. Tools wise get yourself to a landy show always loads of tools for sale cheap

Not to everyone's taste but I think it's quite smart. Am I right in thinking its on the wrong reg tho. Shouldn't it be on a q plate or a reg relevant to the chassis it's on due to the points system?

My friend had the same problem with his discovery, his was down to a faulty input bearing which eventually failed locking the rear end up completely. Would recommend you check just incase.
