    Ok problem one is the input shaft splines Two ratios for diesel will be different to v8 Three buy a v8 gearbox all will fit no problem If you buy a late r380 you can fit the remote housing from your original box a box from a v8 disco or classic or a d2 will fit

    Have you done a base idle reset? Try a double clean out of the auto box oil drain replace the filter run for 100 miles drain again and refill as it maybe a dead bit of sludge in the torque convertor throwing the base idle out

    k seal is a bodge and will cause more issues by blocking the rads! irontite only cures block issues and is not designed to seal leaking gaskets. try a new rad cap but you will then find you are looseing water and burning it as always the choice is yours good luck

    Get the ecu tested but not many have the 14 cux injection tester. Is the fuel pump feeding the correct fuel pressure Timing? Are the cap leads and rotor gen items? When was the last time it was serviced is it LPG converted?
