I've finally fitted my EGR bypass kit! I must have had it sitting in my garage since October last year! Looking about, I've got a steering guard and a spotlight kit to fit which I've had for about 2 years and not fitted! Does anyone else buy stuff and not fit it, or is it just me?

It revs to approx. 3000 and then does that cutting out malarkey thing! I plan to slowly start cleaning sensors as well as finally get around to fitting the EGR! Good advice about the wastegate itself - I kinda forgot the obvious!

I only borrowed the Disco 1; I have a TD5! I usually rely on technology to get me through! I don't know anyone in the area to go green-laning with, so its either go alone or don't go at all! A winch on my TD5 seems a good idea - might have to check the piggy bank!

I was green-laning today and got cross-axled! I managed to rock the car sufficiently enough by pushing it to move it! I had that comedy moment where I got covered in mud much to the amusement of 'er indoors! Is there any easy way to get out of such a situation without having to get out and push?

I went OME all round - replaced the air bags - and went for Terrafirma +2 shocks.

I bought it off my sister! She reckons that it has been very reliable and has only needed 2 new tyres in the last 12 months!

I've just changed the oil and both oil filters in my Disco2 TD5! Having large hands and the way in nestles behind the exhaust manifold doesn't help when removing/replacing filter; I'm sure I've got it tight enough but... Is there a technique for easily screwing on and tightening the cartridge...

I've got an oil leak from the cam cover gasket on my TD5! Are they easy enough to replace or is there something I ought to look out for?

Steering feels fine without any issues until I brake! Brake pedal doesn't feel any different ie no pulsing or movement, to my other car! My car has done 96k but I have have just taken a front wheel off to look at the disk on the near side! It's hardly worn but there seems to be Chinese lettering...

When I brake, there's a bit of a wobble on the steering wheel! Would this be warped front disks?

Just checked the battery on my '02 TD5 and it indicates 12.45v! Should I change it or not? From the state of it, it looks like it is the original. This all started when the M&S auto box lights came on! Reckons the electrics of the 'box is sensitive to low battery voltage!

Finally bought a D2! It is just over 5 years since me previous one was written off by a dozy Honda driver! The one I have just got is a 52 ES model, so if you see me in it on the green lanes around Wiltshire, give a friendly wave! Speaking of which, just about to try a few!
