there's the core plug thingy behind the exhaust manifold which is a common things on the disco td5's. My mates had a hose that goes round the back of the head that needed replacing. What have you done so far to try and fix it?

that'd be why it looks wierd/a lot bigger than others. You'll be better off trying to get hold of a southdowns style snorkel head I'd imagine.

I'd be inclined to replace water pump and gaskets as well as the thermostat for what it costs just for peace of mind! As above. Avoid ****part!

why can't you use the disco?! More than capable at shifting heavy loads of wood.

brake pipes or hoses? If its pipes then get a kit and make your own. Its dead easy. Hoses? Have a look on eBay or speak to Gwyn Lewis.

as above, a decent penetrating oil and if that doesn't work a couple of sharp taps with the hammer should see them free'd up
