I think you meant to say "can jump start them", ie, using jump leads.
But did you know you can also pull start them.
Decent strong long tow rope, pop the auto into neutral.
Get it pulled at up to minimum 35 mph.
Slip it into "D" drive.
Just try it, it will spin the engine, mark my words.

Fixing the car would not be on my list just yet.
I would first try to find out if the car you bought, is legitimate.
You sadly may end up handing the car to the insurance, or to the rightful owners.
