.... just got back to cambs and my timing belt has just snapped.......... oh happy days. I was meant to be leaving tomorrow evening.

Thanks, just been looking that up, tested it and it is working fine. I'm guessing the timing belt has snapped as the rockers are not moving when I crank the engine with oil cap off.... :(:(:(:(:(

Hey folks, Just got back to cambs after a 650 mile trip in the landy from NW Scotland. Went to start it up again last night and it started fine, no odd noises except it stalled about 10 seconds later and wouldn't start again. It does sound a little different when trying to start than it...

I brought hundreds down from CharlesY in Lanarkshire and there are still a couple left at my parents house nr Cambridge but I'm in the NW Highlands now and can't really help

I am confused which ones I need, I have LH and RH thread track rod ends but a friend of mine up here reckons they are not the right parts? Can I get away with just ordering the rubber part or do I need a whole joint? If so what part no?

It's great! Missing the laning though, and the landy is going in for its MOT soon.. fingers crossed. It doesn't get dark here now, still a fairly bright blue sky most nights... Might post another picture or two soon to keep you all jealous :D :D
