It's the turbos that worry me on the 3.6v8 . I have seen some nice tdv8 with 50k full service history for between £18-25k but then you can pick up a supercharged for around £16k . Does anyone know what the v8 4.2 like for reliability ?

It's the pump when on full lock or close to full lock the pump stops turning and belt starts squealing . Have checked belt

So do you think it's had it ? There seems to be play on the pulley about 2mm-3mm in and out. Compared this with my 110 200tdi and there is no play.
