Thanks. I'm not sure if I have the DPF - I thought - if there was no DPF - it could be blocked off. I'll get the one with the hole in it then - give it a whirl. From what I read - its fairly simple - black cover off - slip in the shim with a bit of sealant.

I had a FL1 2002 preface lift - but later S1 with smoked lights/blacker bumpers rather than grey. Best car I ever had, never let me down. Only car I've ever been sorry to see go (I've had some nice cars in that time) - and it was mint when I Px'd it - aged 12. Because of that car I came back...

Thanks :) I don't think pre-2010 had them. I have velcro straps in the boot on the left - where this item is - maybe its for a warning triangle. (?) I don't think mine is a Thule - its a really odd make. It's factory fit as it has a LR Serial Sticker - I just cant remember. German I think.

Thanks for that. I do have a faster car. It's small and Orange and has a Supercharger. Cup holders in that are pointless. Cup holders in an LR are fine. I sit on a motorway - I want coffee. I get up at 4am. I'm taking my coffee with me.

PS: I know about the 10x clicks way of stopping it - but really - I'm not doing that :)
