I have the same thing. Think I have some form of small plastic panel with an ABS line going through it thats loose in my rear right wheel arch, causing the clunks. Not quite sure why though. Unless its the subframe mount cracked and I just cant see it.

My old roof bars were about £30 new as they were universal. Then I built my fairly complex custom roof rack which set me back about £140 after powder coating. If I hadn't put as much plate on it and painted it myself it would have probably cost me about £50.

3.5t bow shackle will happily fit through the front and rear eyes and should be absolutely fine for most if not all things.

2 Bolt on mine.

Also just to add, just spotted designs similar to yours IndiTD4 and they are only rated to 1.5t, just something to think about.

Never use krabs. They are in no way or form rated for this kind of thing. Any average sized shackle (3-5t) will fit through either recovery eye. The towball shouldn't really be used, however could be used as a secondary snap point. Im potentially looking at removing the towball from its two...
