MMmm Trago looks fun. I like those lovely laideez pumps. What's the difference between hammerites Waxoyl and hammerites Underbody Seal With Waxoyl - and what's better?

Is there a kit where you get waxoil, a lance or something to go inside the chassis, a sprayer for the outside etc when you don't have a compressor? cos I don't have a compressor.

Now THAT's the answer I was looking for plus I've got 20litres of contaminated diesel so happy days. Tried washing it off with my Lidl "power" washer but I'd have been better squirting a waterpistol at the thing thanks all

    109 fuel tank interchangeable?

thanks super-slob, without you the forum would truly go astray! you reckon some old polybuses cut in half would work as the rubbery things - did that on my 90s tank and it worked a treat - I imagine its the same set up, a bolt thru a bit of rubber? Really should get a parts catalogue, think...

    109 fuel tank interchangeable?

Can the early series 3 rear tank fit on a later series 3? I imagine it's just the sender thats different in the early and late? A mate has a good early tank and sender and before I buy it, just need to know if they didn't change the chassis design or something stupid. Also - do you...

    My new series 3, Stan.

Thanks Ant - you're right - earlier today I was poking about underneath and as well as discovering that it's on a new chassis, saw the fuel line and sender wire ending at correct location, so will get myself a new rear tank. I was having a good look at the actual switch - it seems that as...

Here he is, Stan (named by previous owner and sold on condition he keeps name) Gearbox issues apart - got a couple of other series questions. Is the steering REALLY THAT DIFFICULT? Have I just become a pauf with power steering in my 90 and 110? Also - the rear filler goes to...

Just joined the series ownership club.... but..gearbox woe

thanks.. thing is it was driven 8 months ago but the reason it was stopped being driven was because of the sudden gearbox failure - no 3rd and 4th gear. anyway - I go and pick it up today so will have a good gander for anything obvious. I noticed when I was looking over it a lot of oil all...
