Pressure washer will shift it or a steam cleaner if yer nip down yer local bus depot or truck company and slip the lads a tenner they'll usually do it for yer.

Diesel, white spirit or kero will lift it clean off. If you clean it down with the aforementioned when it dries out it will leave any of the old stuff quite smooth and it will adhere to the chassis again.

Now THAT's the answer I was looking for plus I've got 20litres of contaminated diesel so happy days.
Tried washing it off with my Lidl "power" washer but I'd have been better squirting a waterpistol at the thing
