    I would agree with previous posts sounds like the battery is on the way out :boom:. It is a common fault/diagnose on other cars not just FL.

    intermittent idle when hot

    Is it petrol or diesel, if revs drop that low the oil pressure is dropping and will cut out. If its a petrol engine check the advance and retard pipe work is okay sometimes the valve sticks.

    Cheers for getting back so quick. The noise is more of a squeak, squeak, squeak and when I give the belt a quick spay it goes away for a few minutes. However as you say there is so much bits there I well tomorrow strip the lining out and stick my head in there to try and make sure.
