rite, got 3 of the 4 bolts in place. got a problem with the steering box bolt that goes through the chassis. got the nut of but the bolt is seized in place. ive put wd40 on it, brake cleaner and tried hitting it out with a hammer. any suggestions?
i use the 150 piece socket and spanner set from the halfords pro range. v.v good!! same warranty as snap on. if something ever broke, you take it back to them and they will replace straight away
hi, i have a rebel steering guard that i want to fit to my disco. i already have the extra bolt needed but i am unsure which bolts i fix the steering guard to. does anybody have any pictures??
cheers james
got the problem sorted. ended up taking it to the local land rover garage as i had to leave for college at 2:30. turned out to be a knackered uj and seized front prop. 139 quid lighter but hey atleast its done. would have probably done it myself but i only discovered it today and i had to travel...
just been out and underneath. tbh paul im new to landys so dont really know what im looking for with regard to how a uj should be etc. gonna go down to the local landy garage and ask them for there opinion on it
hi, as the title says, ive just started getting a rubbling vibration under my feet that i can feel when accelerating in 4th. what could this be?
i was thinking maybe UJ's but why only 4th gear??
cheers james
my disco 200tdi has this problem too. takes about 4-5miles to get nice and toasty. also as previously mentioned, if its just left to idle, it wont get warm. replaced water pump approx 2 months ago
was thinking i could maybe get my mate who is a fabby to make me a mounting plate and bolt straight to the floor as i have no need for the seat to move forwards and backwards as i have dog guard and boarding directly behind drivers seat. cheers for the info though pikey :D
wouldnt bother me if i could get the seat into one position and then leave it like that but all that wiring sounds complicated!! think i may give it a miss :(
