Hi All, Right done some more investigation work over the last week, and this is my findings. Rangie starts first time with no problems from cold or hot, took her for a run today and its great, pulls right the way through to 5 - 5.5k revs no problems. If I kick the auto box down again no...

    help please

Hi, My 4.0 litre had a liner shift. but it is very uncommon, its mainly the 4.6 which suffer from liners moving as the liners are very thin. I would personally stay well clear of DSE models. unless they have had a power chip upgrade, I have driven my brothers and they are really bad. i wanted to...

    p38 hockey stick bushes

Hi Rick, Im going to do mine this weekend. from the chaps in the workshop it appears its a sod of a job, To get the old ones out you have got to cut both sides of the bolt with a hacksaw, then you have to dismantle 90% of the stearing links to get the hockey sticks out. Then its a mater of...

    p38. coolant in r/h footwell

Hi, Just a thought, are you sure its coolant and not condensation from the AC Drain. Just before you go stripping out your heater to change the O'rings might be worth un-blocking the AC Drain tubes, these always get blocked and can cause water in the footwells.

Range Rover 4.0 P38 water pressurizing HELP!!!

sounds like a bit of a cover up, adding mirical additives in a engine. its the easy option out I know, But it doesn't fix the problem just masks it. to be honest all it has done is proved it is a liner issue. You say your rangie has had a replacement engine in its life. being a Land Rover...
