Picked up this wheel at Peterborough over the weekend, I was told it would fit my 300 TDI fine as its 48 spline. However, turns out as mines a CSW model from the tale end of TDI production, it actually uses a 36 spline wheel, Who knew? These seem much harder to find annoyingly in good condition...

It was given a full repaint by them in around 2010/2011. Would’ve been around 11 years old at the time, it’s of course 22 years old now. there’s no damp or water getting in to that rust patch though so not sure why rust is present to begin with. I’ll treat it tonight and see how it goes.

your right if the U.K. ones are smaller then I’m gonna have issues with the paintwork I think. Guess I’ll leave them for now.

Back of mine is like this I’m a little curious why mine had these fitted, but nice to know it’s just a North American Alternative. I think I might leave them alone for now

it’s a 1999 CSW 90 based here In the U.K. so unsure why it would have NAS lights on it from manufacture? it’s a very late 300 TDI registered in 1999 though

Well I ended up getting one and its really impressed me. Looks the part and sounds very nice too. I upgraded the standard speakers to some decent little Kenwoods keeping the old speaker spacers and surrounds. I wouldn’t mind get two rear channels in time though, apparently mounting speakers...

Sunday took her to my first show at York at RCM 4x4 and later that evening visited Westwood Pastures in Beverly. Loved it. Taking her to another show this coming Sunday.

Got it working in the end, just needed a bit of electrical tape in the top of the fitting to stop the led from shorting out on the fitting. super bright now both bulbs and can actually see in the dark.

Hi all, weird issue of water ingress. It seems to be on the front part of the arched section of the transmission tunnel. Just below the fuse box it is very slight but if I dig my finger into the corner of the carpet it’s a bit wet. the fuse box and the rear bulkhead portion directly behind the...
