Not quite correct, there are a lot of knowledgeable people out there however there are a lot of wannabe mechanics out there too and as an ex AA recovery patrol you would be supervised at what goes on, hence van is usually sent.

Hi all Have been recommended this stuff to try and cure the water that is entering the footwell on my RRC soft dash when it rains. Sopposed to be quite good. Anyone else used it. There are many rude comments to come about what else it could be used for I'm sure.

I use Privelige for my RRC have also used Adrian Flux.

Whilst you have everything apart it would be worth flushing your intercooler, the get quite gummed up especially if your EGR valve is still connected.

There is a top plate that goes across to stop the radiator and intercooler from moving.

Cheap and easy to change slave and master cylinders, should sort it as it sounds as though one has failed. Do both though not just one.

The problem with leaks is until you have determined where it is coming from it is nearly impossible to diagnose as hot oil will spread everywhere.

Thanks for that, it would seem that the water is coming in from the seam under the scuttle panel. I seem to have a solid bulkhead, ( shock I know) so it would look as though the sealer is no longer sealing, will remove scuttle panel at some point when time allows and have a look. Agree that...

Hi all My 1994 RRC soft dash is leaking when it rains. I have found out where it is coming into the cab, it is from the seam on the bulkhead behind the brake peddle. What I don't know is where it is coming from before it gets to that seam, has anyone had a similar issue and if so how did you fix...
