I have a metallic knock from front n/s corner checked shock and spring .bottom arm and ball joints .and still cant find it .have you tried the spring to see if a part of the coil has snapped. .i know from passed experience it takes some finding .hope you have more luck than me finding it.

I think the lens comes off first if I remember rightly.then possibly two screws holding unit to roof . may be wrong was a while ago.

I had a 04 plate 3 door that leaked in through the ariel. possible car wash brush damage. used to set the alarm off when it rained when I took the ariel off it had bent the roof slightly. so I straightened roof best I could .filled under ariel with grease and tightened it back up. hey presto...

hi.this may have nothing to do with your problem .but the black smoke from mine was due to the front airbox screws being loose due to threads being stripped so lid was lifting on accelleration. so dragging too much air in.might help might not .I shall now shut up.

their is a piece on removal in landrover monthly dec 2017 . apparently they say takes around six hours so I have never tried .hope this might help.

hi Mac 1990 possible answers to 2 and 3 my 2009 fl2 clicks from fuse box when I flash somebody and my glow plug light only comes on around zero degrees; something to do with computer system deciding if it needs them or not. this might be of some use or I might be talking sh..e as usual lol.

hi I have a vibration coming from the front. found it was the intercooler that was loose you can move the plastic pipes under the car. it seems to cause front bumper to vibrate.but I cant get to it without removing the bumper. this may be of use but I am probably just talking s..t as usual.hope...

hi ,I also have this problem but only if I take it out of gear too early. pulling up to a junction or lights .like you say no problem you just think it is going to stall .I also have hesitation on hard acceleration. can be scary at a junction.
