thankyou for your replies at least i know it has been done and i don`t have to worry about it,just the hand brake squeal to sort now. has had all new discs and pads plus h/hrake shoes before i acquired it ,have done the auto set up with my icarsoft but it still squeals.

sorry to sound ignorant but i didn`t know it had had a servo update ,apart from changing filters and hitting the pre heater with a hammer to make it work i haven`t done anything else under the bonnet, will have been previous owners .they did some jobs and just left others. the more expensive...

Found these i did have some black plastic pipe but have misplaced it so will have to be yellow for now .and thanks for your time and expert knowledge as allways.and would like to see piccies when you have finished, {if we ever finish when owning a landrover:rolleyes:.

you can waffle all you like sir, if it helps me and saves me money in the long run then you are being a great help. and referencing to the 6mm stem elbows i am sure i have some in my box of airline spares, will have a look later. and cheers for your replies they are very much appreciated.

just cleaned up the rear of the nearside sill. thick with mud behind the plastic trim and started to rust on the edge of the wheel arch.might just last a bit longer.

hi wondered if anyone could help? does anybody know if transmission breather on d3 manual just sticks up the front of bulkhead,had oil leaking into engine undertray and found the breather pipe hanging down side of engine and oil running out. oil was clean but quite thin, end of rubber pipe was...

i just changed gas struts on tailgate,at least it doesn`t hit the wife on the head anymore:p.

i checked the front prop when i checked the driveshaft ,there was slight play when twisting it but nothing major,my fl2 was the same and that ran fine.it was the driveshaft that had play thats why i bought one,only had it six weeks and i want to burn it already.

no i was just taking their word for it.

it came from ebay ,can you send it back with no reason or do i just make an excuse.
