Help with seat cover advice please!

I live overseas and have a 2005 Facelift Freelander 1 2.5V6. My driver's seat is worn and so I want to buy front seat covers. All the seat covers I see for sale are for models before 2004. It does not appear you can buy seat covers for the facelift models. Does anybody know whether at a pinch I can use the pre-2004 front seat covers, possibly making some small modifications? Getting the seats re-covered on our small island is not a possibility. Help would be appreciated!!

You can probably use pre-2004 Freelander seat covers on your 2005 facelift model, but you’ll likely need to make small adjustments around the side bolsters and fastening points. Ensure nothing blocks seat controls or airbags. Custom covers are the safest fit if possible.
