I agree, just leave it as it is, you don't need numbers to tell the time on an analogue.
I have a watch that is charged up by solar. Hung it on a door knob in the sun once. The glue melted and all the numbers fell off! Carried on using it, no prob at all!

I took her Cooper All 4 for a wash and brush up as I said I would.
It has come out looking OK to be fair. She has had the car since feb 2019 and has never, ever washed it because she has a fear of the auto machines and is too much of a skinflint to pay someone else to clean it. :D
Cost me £25.

...I had a blood test this arvo to look for Uric acid levels in my blood (the Gout). :)
Didn't feel a thing but I bled like a stuck pig into the wad of dressing they put over the hole. :)

I once had a blood test just before going back to work (medical for the job) peeps thought I was a druggy as my forearm was so briused.
My body dont like giving up the valuable red stuff :).

Are there no auto machines near chez vous where you can stick the token in the machine from outside the car then run away until it is finished?

.... here's a little life lesson. After my heart-attack in 2007 they stuck me on a load of drugs that are part of a "post HA Protocol".
These are Statins, Clopidogrel, Beta Blockers, Ramipril Ace inhibitors and baby aspirin.

They don't tell you anything about "side-effects" or other such stuff, they just tell you that you mustn't stop taking them and the implication on the labels is that if you stop you are going to die.
So the Statins robbed me of all my Muscle strength and the Aspirin caused constant high pitched ringing in my ears.

I stopped taking all of them a month or so ago and magically, my Tinnitus from the daily baby aspirin is gone and my BP is still only 98/62 @ 79BPM. :D Am I keeling over? NOT SO FAR. :D

Anyone know what the tiles are in the pic, they are in a 1934 boat thats getting scrapped seams a shame to bin them
I was going to try n save them along with some other stuff. Its mostly teak with the owners add on poor carpentry..

One for @Stanleysteamer he was just retiring when this was launched. 🤣🤣

Mr G says they are azulejos, which are a form of Portuguese or Spanish painted, tin-glazed ceramic tilework. Would that fit with the history? No direct hits on the pattern though

The problem can also be caused when they simply cannot find a vein. W has this problem and they can only take blood or inject her in the right arm as she had to have a lymph gland removed from under her left when she had breast cancer.
The least painful I ever had, i.e. no pain at all was done by a trainee scanning student!
Can't say any really hurt, except for the injections for arthritis. Into finger and thumb joints.
