Need the 4 bolt holes in to chassis at bottom of relay rethreaded to fit , no one seems to know right size but found this here Tap size | Land Rover UK Forums (lrukforums.com)
I dont have any unf taps just metric, would a similar metric bolt and thread do ?
Bolts are in diagram 544337

So why not order a pack of 544337? Get the thread pitch from those.

Depends how much material you've got left in the chassis to re tap, might need to use an insert.

Are the metric taps fine thread or course that you have...and why do you have to re-thread them...

Think Ive cracked it, had to rethread as galvavising had filled up the holes, anyway used my cheap metric tap from toostation 6mm, bolts go in and out fine, so thionk it should do the job.

Is that a new chassis? If so it was probably metric tapped but dont know why original imperial bolts fit...
