P38A Wheel colour change

Has anyone changed original wheels to black or refurbished there’s I’ve so could you point me in the way of best products or is it better to just have them powder coated

Nothing beats the depth, coverage and lustre of powder coating, although spraying 2k on as a colour change is ok on less intricate rims.

I sprayed mine with Matt black rattle can. Black looks okay on a ‘38 looks slightly less sparkly L320ish. Rub down with fine paper taped tyres up and put rags in the brakes and couple of coats. Worst case I can redo them in 25 minutes with the other half of the can but they have stayed decent

Yer they look decent will give it a go mine are off the car so should be easier cheers
