Removed front grill. Cut a piece of Ali to cover the rad(leave the intercooler side for a bit of air movement)

Re fit grill, capturing the Ali between grill & frame.looks a lot better than the “farmer feed sack” special I have used for years.

nearly forgot to to make a hole so I could open the bonnet.

Well the emergency PAS pipe repair is holding tight , new complete pipe arrived today and will get it fitted at the next opertune moment and unusually noticed by accident that the heater plugs work of the key aswell as off the additional button on the dash, you cant just turn the key and leave it in the heater plug position, you have to hold it there , I still just have to count the seconds as the heat plug/choke dash light don't go out on its own

Thank you @moremuckmush , it took 19mths of hard graft to get the old girl up to scratch. The Ninety's my first ever LRD and I love her to bits. It's a constant smile when driving...in fact, a constant smile when not driving...she's just eminently practical and superbly capable.

Re' smiles...Chrimbo twig in the back, tilt rolled up, drivers side window open trundling along at 60mph, arm resting on top door...four layers and overalls on, on a fresh blue sky December day. Perfect...;)

Sat and looked at it, just can’t be arsed to finish what I’ve started! Severely lacking in motivation…..

Ah, that'll be the 80-20 project/work hit the brick wall rule...we hit the 80% wall and it's a bugger to finish the 20%. Give yourself a break for a while, re-charge the mojo and return with gusto. I've had to do this many times over the years, it always works :)

Nowt exciting, just changed the battery, but as it was a big one I ended up having to take the seat out to swap them over. Exide 100/900, remembered to charge it up first.
Didn't realise the old one had been on so long, I thought something like 4 or 5 years, checked through the recipt file and it is more than 8 years, so not too bad.
