Hi guys. Looking for paint ideas for the 90. The main body will be red as it’s already that colour so easier to keep it that way rather than painting engine bay etc, plus I like it. It has silver chequer plate on wings, bonnet etc and silver modular wheels. I’m considering doing the roof silver to kinda tie in the wheels and chequer plate but I’ve never seen one with a silver roof before? Any pics of anyone that has that colour scheme would be great as my imagination is rubbish at picturing colours Cheers

The only picture I could find with a silver roof ;)

serious note…
So we all have seen red with a white roof so silver would not be far off that.

Brings out the farmer in me that tin roof! I guess silver is pretty close to white. I’ve always thought white roofs and white wheels work but looks a bit odd with a white roof and silver wheels.

That was my original idea but I’m afraid to make her too ‘spangly’. She’s a workhorse that’s always towing and general farming duties. I’d be too worried about scuffing up the black roof on low branches. I though silver would hide the scratches better as well as match the wheels.
Good thinking…
Plus silver onto white would be easier.

Pink nice colour or pastel colours work well with Freelander s some known reason. Grey with a Postal code marked on top. At least give the police service a fighting chance when it nicked. Sadly your pride and joy will be the envy of the Jimmy the dink unless you stick a starving Pitbull with his knackers tied up
