But the ulez and lez dont apply to petrol motors only dirty dozzels so a RR classic is ok anyway unless its VM powered so i think they are just trying to cash in

£135k to avoid a few quid in the ULEZ, seems sensible..

It applies to all vehicles petrol or Derv.

Thats a bugger, that cause a lot of people who cant afford a new car lots of problems
of coarse it wont effect all the mp`s who dont know what its like to have to run older cars

Won't effect me either. 51 plate Mondeo is eligible, all petrol Fords since 2001 are.Thats a bugger, that cause a lot of people who cant afford a new car lots of problems

Gencys Jaaag is OK too, petrol, and NBs Clio, likewise, and her Series is historic, so that is OK as well.My 2005 S type and 1987 XJ are both compliant, by my nans diesel micra isn't

I know the Cortina is exempt but its not really a car i would like to park in town and expect it to be there hours latter

I have a diesel vapourising stove. Which only burns diesel, as you would expect.dont forget to burn wet wood in the fire

I have had those garage heaters before, also burnt waste oil.I've got one in the garage, it burns the diesel that come from the old filters I change. Free heat!!!
This is a bit more sophisticated, Refleks burner in a Morso stove, sealed flue, no smell at all.

I'm saving waste oil for a spinner to clean the oil and then find a way to de-acidise and blend with diesel. Not yet sure at all...

I have found filtered waste oil mixed in diesel works fine in old engines with inline injection pumps. May even be better than modern diesel, which is very thin, and has veg oil in it.
I would be pretty wary about trying it in modern diesels, though.
