Hi, Wondering If I could get some advice.
I've got a 1979 SWB Series 3 that I intend to tow my track car with to do trackdays, hill climbs etc.
As its pre VIN it has no GTW listed on the Chassis number Plate. I Understand the Recommended towing capacity is 2t but what legally can I tow a full 3.5t trailer with it?

Most documents/threads online seem to lead me to belive it might be possible for vehicles marked as such, but would like so prehaps more informed advice?

(I under stand the issues of towing with such a light vehicle but its got disc brakes all round etc)

Also enjoy a pic of me bottoming out the shocks

Max drawbar is 2ton for all Series land Rover's I think from memory..

What engine you got?
It's got a 12j in it. Not sure of the original but think it was a petrol.

Shame they're only 2t? I got my hopes up when I saw that 90s were rated at 3.5t!
