Coolant system pressure tester ???

I'm looking for a reasonably priced pressure tester so I can check my system as I progress repairs (L322 2002) any recommendations based on your experiences ?
Searched the forums with little valuable info.

I used to have a spare radiator cap with one of those metal schrader valves fitted, could then just use a tyre pressure gauge to check pressure, really must make up a new one.

Me too but it fits the header tank pipe or a heater pipe and has a guage as well.
The guage isn't accurate but it is good enough for checking whether the pressure drops or not.

I made my own. Really easy with an old pressure cap and a tyre valve stem, inserted into a hole drilled in the pressure cap.

Simply swap the cap and pump up to whatever pressure you like (don't go mad), and see how long it holds the pressure.
