Guys,

I sent the old 110 in for a bulkhead repair and was getting a respray also but.... It turns out the bulkhead was too bad to repair and it had to come out. It's now being replaced by a nice new shiny bulkhead.

I also had a clutch that was... only okay, so it's now being changed also. We had a small element of welding to an out rigger too but outside of that i'm okay.

Is there anything I should be doing at this time when I have the 110 stripped back? I don't expect to be touching it again for a long time so any direction would be appreciated.

So I've gone from this

I'm in deep now so I have to keep swimming. Looking at full restore now...

Turns South pretty quick hey :(

Might i suggest members vehicles fred;)

I'd start saving as much money as possible and learn some relaxation and deep breathing exercises. If yours had a totally knackered bulkhead when it looks like that, then I dread to think what mine must look like if I stared at it hard enough.

Any way to prevent the bulkhead from rusting out? I've a 300 TDI that's getting on a bit.
