Recently got my HSE freelander 2. I've got a few things I wanted to ask
if I may

1- my left wing mirror is almost magnified in comparison to my right one which looks normal. It makes it pretty useless. Is this normal?

2- flash my full beams there's a click from passengers fuse box area. Is this normal?

3- no glow plug light on dash board. Easy fix? Possible issues?

4- I have an iPod lead in the glove box and manual in my leather wallet so it's the genuine Landover hook up. I have an intermittent issue with the skip buttons on the steering wheel sometimes they work sometimes they don't? The buttons on the head unit have never worked for me. Easy fix? What could be the problem?

Thanks in advance guys!!

Well possible answer to no4 I found a reset button on the unit in the glove box which is just below the phono sockets. Controls work upon trying but without using it for some time won't know for sure.

hi Mac 1990 possible answers to 2 and 3 my 2009 fl2 clicks from fuse box when I flash somebody
and my glow plug light only comes on around zero degrees;
something to do with computer system deciding if it needs them or not. this might be of some use or I might be talking sh..e as usual lol.

Sounds as if you’ve got the wrong mirror glass in - probably been smashed at some point and replaced with an aftermarket one or one from another market spec for FL2 (assuming you’re UK based!)

Click is normal - it’s the relay activating

When it’s cold, turn the ignition on without foot on brake/clutch and see if glow plug light comes on then

The iPod interface doesn’t use the radio controls only the steering wheel controls

Thanks guys for all your responses. I am indeed UK based. In regards to the glow plug light I mean it doesn't show on the dash before ignition like when you let the lights go out.

The reset on the iPod module in the glove box made no change. But I did decide to unplug the cable it's almost got like an old keyboard style connection. So far touch wood it's been fine.
