110 csw rear bench seats (side facing) - are they supposed to fold?

It really looks like either the bottom is supposed to fold up, or the back fold down, but both seem to be bolted through to the top of the wheel arch.

Is this correct?

Yes bottom should fold up

Yes, that's the idea. The ones in the pictures look a bit rusty, but they should fold upwards to give you a bit more width in the load bed area.

That's what i thought - im sure theyve been bolted down.

Will investigate further.

re: rust -

So far as i can tell, replacements are over £500 for the pair, so ill be keeping the existing ones, i think!

Ill probably take them out, and either paint, powdercoat, or (ideally) send to the galvanisers.

You can get the two seater benches for approx £80 a pair don't know about the bigger ones but might be worth having another look

£500???!!! You're having a laugh. I couldn't give mine away, I sold them on eBay after listing them about 5 times for 99p and the bloke couldn't even be bothered to fetch them so I chucked them behind the garage for the hedgehogs to live under
