As above I've had conflicting stories.

Nope. It's tratters that are made from baked bean tins when they've been patch repaired. Not Freelanders.

Thanks for that A well respected engine here in France, I prefer the earlier Puma lump with chain driven cam shafts.

I does. it's the same over ere.
Many manufacturers share engines. Been going on for ages.
LR would do 2 million miles on an engine before they used it's design in production, in the 90's. That's a lot of vehicles driving round on test. Sharing the work/cost is why they shares engines.

Amen to that. Most people I have talked to say the new engine is worse and less reliable, and no more power
