rear anti roll bar

Had a b,doingy sound from the rear earlier today, upon investigation found the anti roll bar had sheared at the bolt to the ball joint.
When I got home for a better look the other side had done the same.
The rhs bush was shot, lhs OK.
Not sure which went first and what caused the breakage.
Passed its mot about 2months ago with no probs re bushes.
I have a 2inch lift and iam wondering if its the lift that has caused the breakage or the bush to the body mount failing?
I was reliably informed the anti rollbar was OK with a 2inch lift, Albert might limit abit of travel,but as I've done a couple of lanning trips since the lift, iam wondering if they are not compatible?????????

I was under the impression you should remove the anti roll bar when offloading as it limits the articulation which kinda goes against what you fitted the lift kit for in the first place ,

Take it off my man !! Will be much better off road ! Not much different on road !!!

mmmmmmmmmm thats what i was thinking. took what was left off. see what its like on road tomorrow.
