key help! thanks

Iv just bought a w reg td5 defender and tonight iv noticed the keys just starting to twist and its the only one. I have a code on a key ring im gueseing to order a new one is there any online who sells them?and if i got a key cut in town tomorrow will that work the ignition? An will it upset the mobiler?many thanks

I moved it from a section that it probably wouldn't get seen in because it shouldn't be there to one where it definitely will.
