Camo paint decided then :D:D

Did you ask her to do so you had a good excuse to paint it camo??

One of my friends had a reputation for being bit of a thicko. One of his punishments was to clean his dads brand new car which was a few weeks old so he got down to it and his dad was really happy until he walked round the front and noticed the bonnet had a weird dullness to it, on closer inspection was covered in small scratch marks, my mate used a brillo pad to get the bird **** off the bonnet.

Hahha ####ing epic. Nah didn't tell her but I had another biscuit and a good drink of me coffee and finished me fag before I stopped her :D:D:D:D

One of the new company vans I had a fees years ago had a sticker on the dash saying... Do not use abrasives to clean the exterior paint work for at least 4 weeks,
I asked my manager if it was ok to use a sandblaster to clean it after that...

mine did the same. I was stripping paint off the front door, and she was fussing about with a sharsten scraper, didn't pay much attention to her mumbling "me help daddy, me do it" until I turned round and saw she'd gone down the side of the car copying what I was doing.

still get a warm glow when I look at the scratches now !

Portishead, eh?

Not atm out in cleeve.

Yeah she was round the back whilst I fitted a mates new head unit saying fix daddys landy.

Years ago when my Grandad was alive he collected old Alvis cars. He had a beautiful T21 that had plaque in side the door saying it had been on the motor show stand around 1958-59. He parked it outside our house and some little hooligan filled the petrol tank with stones................................................

50 years later I'm still alive to tell this tale.

Glad I'm not the only one, my boys decided to surprise me and help me out by cleaning the Disco a couple of years ago ... needless to say she ain't scratch free any more! I just see it as their stamp on what they call dad's awesome car, because it takes them places mum's Golf ain't got a hope of reaching :)
