Fitted a new disco stat but temp gauge went right off the top and stat didnt seem to open so i took it back out. bought a smiths Deffender Gauge and still gave the same reading also borrowed one off a friend and that read the same. time to pull the head off it i recon?:scratching_chin:

I dont know if ive said this above but a capilliary gauge is best very accurate and no worries about mismatched senders etc.
Cant remember the make but came from e bay about 20 quid and came with an adaptor that screwed straight into the 200 stat housing.
