i'm not that rich. I had a 200 earlier in the year nevermind. If he is serious about doing a swap I will ask about those there wheels are well sort after so its possible someone may well be happy to swap.

What was that tech guy in the vans log on name? Is he on here?

i've got a nice rebuilt 3.5 efi engine with receipts of rebuild that I need to shift and or store anyone need a good V8?

Yeah his name is voguese37 or close to it? He ain't that bothered about selling them but don't really have the money to buy one so will swap for one. As long as it is a runner without a million miles? If not how much you willing to pay for them?
 
dunno was tempted to keep it as a spare engine for the 80 inch as the 3.9 in it has been messed with weird cams and the like thats probably useless for trialling now tbh. So my best soloution is to get the 80 inch running try it and if its some stupid high performance high rpm cam then throw in the 3.5 as it will be far better for comps than some tvr cam'd 3.9.
 
yea vogue37 rings a bell he was giving advice on the efi section. Now it makes sense!

Erm.......don't know what I want for it tbh. From memory it done 80K has a rebuild a year before being scrapped new main shells, bored, pistons, rings loads of work. If i get a decent offer i'll probaly sell/swap but i'll probably keep it for now i will weigh the gearbox from it in along with another 6 i have kicking about. The long stick pre defender box I got from you earlier sibble i'll keep to trade into ashcroft when I next want a recon. I thinks its no good for bevhelee altnough he could try but ashcroft usually need like for like.
 
Ok no worries I don't really care what you do with it TBH I was only going to scrap it as I have too much junk in the garage already lol sorry I wasn't very talkative earlier I was freezing cold and the bloke wanted paying. Landy should all be back together next month so I will come along and say hi properly

It was that good a build the one of the main men nationally in trialling/comp safari racing just had to have it for his competition motor after the vehicle was sold on. Don't think 12-19mpg would cut it tho these days.

Whats wrong with your motor anyhow just electrics or somthiong else.

I might be nosey and pm Voguese asking what his price per hour is? be interesting how much he is charging.
 
there are soo many lanes to do up there we tried'to get from Ely to Gt Yarmouth in a weekend not a hope! Too many lanes we need about a week me thinks
 
Well a guy from work has planned a route and said depending on how many people get stuck or have problems it may take two days but I have mon and tue off work anyway.
 
sounds great! I think Beaker and myself will be planning somthing like that soon. I want to get my landy 100% before venturing off again i do love field mechanics but don't fancy doing it to my own mota if I can help it.

Another trip will indeed be in the planning. I too want to get mine running 100% before heading out again, its not turning over again but the starter motors spinning up so not a scooby whats going on there as it was fine at the weekend. Might be due to the frozen fuel....

Who's going to the meal on friday? I owe money's also as i didn't make it to the pub meet.
