Finally got the rusty old exhaust out. I'm now using it as a collender n the kitchen........

This was my next question.... The sump tray. It's gasket is showing signs of leaks and to be honest I doubt it's ever been taken off. I'd like to drop it give a good clean get all the sludge out and replace gasket so might do it all on one go but is it easy to do on the disco 1?

I always try purging by putting as much oil in filter before fitting it but I've heard stories of air becoming trapped in pump if not done in right order?

1995 D1 V8i 3.9 Hi all. I have the lovely task of doing an oil and filter change on my disco. I've done one before on a modern car but not a landy. What's the best order ri do it in as I've heard horror stories of airlocks in pumps followed by hours of fun with tubs of vaseline??????

So I take it the circuit goes direct from P/S to clutch without passing back inside via a relay???? I have power to P/S but nothing to the wires going TO clutch (power connector to clutch) so somewhere between P/S and clutch it's dead this is what makes me think it returns to a relay before back...
