hi all I've just bought a defender with a Disco 200tdi engine fitted... It looks and works ok but the air box is a bit of a bodge - I think it's probably the old one from the original Defender TD. Before I do anything with it, I wondered what advice everyone had - could I fit a K&N style...

Thanks for the advice ... I'll let you know how I get on. If it was a short wouldn't it just whack straight over and stay there rather than bounce about round the red?

Hope there's someone out there who can help ... My 1990 90 TD temp gauge zooms straight to red and beyond after a brief warm up and I can't seem to get to the bottom of the problem. I've changed the sender ... no result ... and I've changed the thermostat... no result ... what do I do next...
